Owner Profile

Rick Pruett
CEO
One of the former owners of Pruett Industries, Rick has been in the pressure, temperature and control line business for over 30 years. He was one of the pioneers in bringing optical fiber temperature monitoring to the oil industry in the early 80's. He has been selling and installing capillary tubing systems since the late 70's.
Rick started from the ground level as a wireline helper, and worked his way up to vice president of Pruett Industries Inc, prior to selling the business to Halliburton in 2002. His background includes international sales and services throughout the world.
Quote: "The reason I started Pruett Tech is because I believe that many of the larger companies have forgotten some of the general business concepts and older proven products.
Service is still at the core of our business and we have a Can Do attitude. Plus I believe that systems like Capillary Tubing pressure monitoring still has its place in the market. I have been running these types of systems with great success for over 30 years and you still cant beat the reliability, ease of use and cost
Optical Fiber Temperature monitoring (DTS) was in its early stages when we sold our company to Halliburton, now it has gained a wide market share and the products are more reliable and cost effective, however I still believe there is a lot of new areas we can take this technology, im looking to do just that.
